First of all, you may try to eliminate the unnecessary items. For example, it is not a must to hire a musician or a DJ in your wedding. Instead you can try to prepare some music CDs to play during your reception. You may think that your reception will be boring if you do not hire a DJ. In fact, you can still be able to make your reception interesting if you can choose some good music. Alternatively, you may also invite your friends or family members who can play instruments to perform in your reception. This is one of the ways to save money for your wedding music.
If it is possible, be sure to bring your own liquor for your reception. It is very true that you caterer can also prepare the liquor for you. However, it will be a lot more expensive. Of course you will have to discuss with your caterer before you bring your own liquor. This is especially true if the catering services are provided by the reception hall. If you do not discuss with them beforehand, they may charge you when you bring your own liquor to the reception. You may be ending up spending more money in this case.
Your wedding favor does not need to be something expensive. It is more important for you to prepare them from your heart. If it is possible, you should try to create them yourself.
